Christmas Crafts!

What crafts do you do for Christmas in your classroom?

I always paint my kids hands and put a sweet little Christmas, "remember my hand" poem on it to give to parents. But we also learn about alot of different holiday traditions around America. It wouldn't be as fun if we didn't have a craft to go along with them!

We will make a Menorah for Hanukkah.

Chanukah Handprint Menorah - not Jewish, but CUTEST Hannukah craft I've seen - and I taught Preschool for a looong time!

We are making adorable poinsettia's on Friday for the story of The Legend of the Poinsettia. I will keep those a super surprise for you :)

Then of course, we will make something that SHOULD resemble these cute little tree ornaments when we talk about Christmas!

And then this sweet little Kwanzaa Candle from A Tale of Two K Teachers

My kiddos love crafts, so they are really excited do all these make all these cute little creations!

Back to 2nd ;)

I do apologize for being a bit absent recently. After announcing our new little angel and feeling so wonderful, I got hit like a ton of bricks. The whole morning sickness BANG. I was never sick with Madden, so this is a new feeling for me. My doctors have been great, so let's hope it gets better soon!

In the mean time, I am bringing us back to 2nd grade from my last post. I had started working on a No Prep Winter packet for 2nd grade, and I decided I wanted to share what I have gotten completed so far with all of you :) It's 5 ELA pages, perfect for morning work or quick assessments!

A Flashback to Kindergarten!!

I was so excited to have a little flashback to teaching Kindergarten this weekend! I made a No Prep Math Pack for Christmas for one of my sweet Kindergarten teacher friends! It really made me miss teaching K! She wanted some "cutesy" Christmas printables to use for morning work and quick assessments. So... This is what I came up with on a bit of short notice :) 18 pages of pure Christmas joy!

It really was fun to make this pack! You can get these printables ON SALE now in my TPT store by clicking the image above. Don't forget to use the code TPTCYBER for an even better discount!
