Meet me

This is me... Chelsey (West) Andrews.

 I am a 2nd grade teacher in the big Southern town of Spartanburg, South Carolina. I teach 2nd grade. I previously taught Kindergarten which you can tell from my OLD blog posts and my teacher store. I love to blog and create items for my classroom. You only see maybe a 1/12 of the things I make for my class in my Teacher Store. It is very time consuming to polish products to sell to others. I do a little bit each day (or maybe each week). I hope to do better this year than I have in the past with putting my products out there to share with other educators!

After almost 5 wonderful years, I married the man of my dreams. I think God sent him to my doorstep (or to the restaurant I worked at) for many reasons. He is the hardest working man I know and would do anything for his family. 

We got married in Charleston, South Carolina. The most wonderful and romantic place on earth. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. 

We have an adorable son, Madden, who is just over 2 years old. He is a ball of energy and everyone always asks, "is he always like this?" The answer is, "yes!" He is nonstop from 8 am-8 pm (and sometimes later!). But he is the best thing that has ever happened to us and he really has changed our lives for the better.

I have the most adorable niece. She is my other baby. I can't believe she is in 2nd grade-- old enough to have me as her teacher. Yikes. I think she is me, in another body. Seriously.

We love summer. I have talked about my obsession with being tan (I know, it's awful). Madden is crazy about the beach and the pool, so we are there as much as we can. Give me a hot sunny day and a beach chair any day!
