Fall into a Good Book

We have been working hard on opinion writing! I absolutely love these pieces my kiddos did on their favorite books!

I'm so proud of my bulletin board! The kids made it perfect. Or maybe it was my big, fat owl ;)

Are you counting down the days until Thanksgiving?! I am!! I love teaching about Colonial times and am so excited about one of the projects my kiddos are going to work on (pictures to come when they are done). In the meantime, I have a sweet comparing life then and now for you to download! Hopefully it will give our kiddos some insight into the wonderful things we have nowadays! You can click either image below to download your copy!

Have a great Friday!! :)

A little 1st grade fun!

I have a few friends who teach 1st grade and asked if I would make them some fun math centers for the end of May. I decided to make some Rainforest themed Math Centers for the Firsties. Summer reminds me of going on vacation and maybe visiting the zoo... Hence the rainforest theme.
If you want to purchase this unit (which I would greatly appreciate), head over to my TN store or my TPT store!

IN THE JUNGLE!

I finally finished my jungle literacy unit! It has taken me two very long weeks to get it all done. Obviously, I have been very busy with little baby Madden. I am so excited about this unit. It has a ton of great things in it. I cannot wait to use it with my Kinders when I get back!

My favorite part of this unit? The Pocket Chart Syllable Sort. Kiddies sort the jungle animals by how many syllables are in each of their names. How fun! Plus, there is a SUPER CUTE worksheet to go with it. If you want to check it out... Head over to my TPT store!
cute, isn't it?!

Here are some other previews from the unit:

All of my super cute clipart for this unit came from Scrappin' Doodles!
